Elaine presents a special themed show in which she's playing a starry selection of show tunes from musicals and musical films inspired by real-life stories, events, and/or people. The programme will feature songs from Six The Musical which remixes the lives of the wives of Henry VIII, Dreamgirls, which is said to be inspired by things that happened to The Supremes, Calamity Jane, which is based on the historical figure of frontierswoman Martha Jane Cannary, End of the Rainbow, which details the end of Judy Garland’s career, and Fiorello, which tells the story of the life of New York City’s favourite mayor; Fiorello LaGuardia who they ended up naming an airport after.
