Arabella Weir chooses her favourite songs in the Tracks of My Years with music from George Michael and Al Green. Plus Gary has another round of the PopMaster music quiz.
Arabella Weir, the comedian, writer and actor picks the Tracks of My Years with songs from George Michael and Al Green. The star of The Fast Show and Two Doors Down is touring the UK with her first solo comedy show called, Does My Mum Loom Big In This? In the show Arabella recounts stories from her dysfunctional childhood and life as a single working mother which explores all the pain, pitfalls, embarrassment and unintentional hilarity of motherhood. Arabella starred in The Fast Show, for which she wrote all of her characters, as well her Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two series Posh Nosh, which she wrote with Does My Mum Loom Big In This? co-writer Jon Canter, where she starred alongside Richard E. Grant. She has also appeared in Doctor Who and One Foot In The Grave and has recently been starring as Beth in comedy series Two Doors Down. Arabella wrote the international bestseller Does My Bum Look Big in This? (its title taken from her hit The Fast Show catchphrase) and since then has published various other works including the memoir The Real Me Is Thin.
Gary also has the daily love song, record and album of the week plus PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch with the show email gary.davies@bbc.co.uk
