The remaining seven cooks bake their ultimate children’s birthday cakes. They have just three hours, and Mary Berry piles on the pressure by reminding the cooks that she knows a thing or two about birthday cakes! With plenty of creativity and skill on show, and each of the judges picking their own personal favourite, whose cake will win out?

For the rustle-up task, Chris wants to see what they can do with a classic leftover ingredient, and as if cooking without a recipe wasn’t tough enough already, he has stripped back their larders even more than usual.

And one more cook will be knocked out of the competition in Angela’s brutal eliminator round.
