Multi award-winning lyricist Don Black returns with a new series to celebrate the iconic songwriters of the twentieth century, their songs and the artists who performed them. Each week Don showcases a selection of iconic tunes, popular and timeless standards.

Tonight he pays tribute to Michael Ball, Alfie Boe, Karen Carpenter and Nat King Cole.

In the first show of the series, Don introduces his new β€˜Who’s This….’ Challenge.

Back by popular demand is 'And They Also Wrote This.....' This week it’s Sammy Fain and Irving Kahal.

Plus there's a weekly nod to the fabulous voice of Matt Monro.

The show is packed full of personal anecdotes and entertaining stories as Don recalls meeting and working with many of the greatest writers and entertainers in the business.
