Damhead, Cloughmills and the Blackwater

The Damhead Miniature Railway, the award-winning 'Edible Cloughmills' project and the fruit trains that went along the Derry to Portadown line from Annaghmore in the 1930s.

Anne Marie meets Kenneth Boyd, a miniature train enthusiast at the Damhead Miniature Railway just outside Limavady. The thriving village of Cloughmills goes from strength to strength due to the 'Edible Cloughmills' project. Memories of the Portadown to Derry railway, which was used for fruit traffic from Annaghmore in the 1930s. Songwriter Patrick Davey talks about his new song inspired by the Belfast of his childhood.
