Miranda Lambert is in session from Nashville, playing songs from her new album 'Wildcard' and discussing her career with Bob.
A special show this week, with country superstar Miranda Lambert joining Bob live from Nashville to play songs from her new album "Wildcard"
Miranda Lambert was born, in Longview, Texas. She grew up in Lindale, a small town where her parents ran a private detective agency. In 2003 she was runner up on the reality TV show "Nashville Star" which effectively launched her career.
Since then she's become one of the biggest stars in contemporary country music, with a string of chart topping albums and singles to her name. She is the only female artist to win the CMA Award for Best Album two years running, and she was voted the American Country Music top female vocalist title for 9 consecutive years!
Along with Angaleena Presley & Ashley Monroe she is also a member of the Pistol Annies, whose 2018 album "Interstate Gospel" was also a chart topper. She is also a passionate defender of animal rights, and runs the dog charity Mutt Nation from Nashville.
