Allan Clarke of The Hollies guests
Allan Clarke, founder member of The Hollies alongside Graham Nash, joins Jools in the studio to celebrate the release of his first solo album in thirty years.
Jools' guest this week is pop legend Allan Clarke, who founded The Hollies alongside Graham Nash and was their lead singer for nearly 40 years before retiring from the music business in 1999.
Now one of the great voices of British music is back with his first record for thirty years. Allan will be playing tracks from it on the show tonight, as well as discussing his long career with Jools. picking some of the records that have been most influential in his life and singing a Conway Twitty classic live with the band.
