We meet the South’s veteran Gurkha soldiers forced to rely on relatives and charity to supplement their British Army pensions, and celebrate the
return to our forests of the goshawk

We meet the veteran Gurkha soldiers in the South, many of whom have to rely on charity and family to supplement their British Army pensions as they call for equal treatment with their British comrades. We learn whether people who dip into their pension pots live to regret the decision or are happy to take the money; and we celebrate the successful return to the South of the phantom of the forest – the mighty goshawk.
