Gabby Logan presents live coverage from Doha. Day one’s hectic heptathlon schedule concludes with the fourth event - the 200m.
Gabby Logan presents live coverage from Doha as a potentially titanic heptathlon battle between Katarina Johnson-Thompson and Nafi Thiam kicks off in the Middle East.
Day one’s hectic heptathlon schedule concludes with the fourth event - the 200m, a discipline which favours Britain's reigning world and European indoor champion Johnson-Thompson. Johnson-Thompson is unlikely to have it all her own way however, on an opening day which also features one of Thiam's strongest events - the high jump. Reigning world, Olympic and European champion outdoors, Thiam has cleared 2.02m in the high jump this year. Who will be flying high on day one in Doha?
Expert analysis is provided by British Olympic heptathlon champions Jessica Ennis-Hill and Denise Lewis.
