Matthew Pinsent presents live coverage from Ottensheim in Austria, where the world’s best rowers have the dual aim of winning medals and securing their places at the Olympics.

An impressive 23 nations won medals at the recent World Cup regatta, so competition will be stiff. Britain topped the medals table at the 2016 Olympics with three golds but didn’t win in any of the Olympic classes in Bulgaria last year, with Italy finishing first in the medals table for the second year in a row. Today’s finals include the men’s and women’s fours and quadruple sculls.
