Sam Taylor-Johnson & Dave Grohl

Filmmaker Sam Taylor-Johnson speaks to Jo about her new film A Million Little Pieces and Dave Grohl calls in ahead of Foo Fighters headlining Reading + Leeds this weekend.

Filmmaker Sam Taylor-Johnson speaks to Jo about her new film A Million Little Pieces - about a young writer (played by her husband, Aaron Taylor-Johnson) who spends two months being treated for addiction in Minnesota. Sam has directed and co-written the screenplay for the film which is based on the best-selling book by James Frey.

Sam Taylor-Johnson is an acclaimed director and producer whose film Nowhere Boy was nominated for two BAFTAs. Her other work includes Fifty Shades of Grey and the short Love You More.

Dave Grohl calls in to the show ahead of The Foo Fighters headlining Reading + Leeds this weekend. He tells Jo about his bromance with Rick Astley and hints at some exciting plans for the band's 25th anniversary next year.

Plus there's Jo's handpicked mix of tunes from all genres of the musical spectrum. And whether you’re picking up or dropping off, Jo provides the soundtrack for the Taxi Service.
