A team of valais blacknose sheep superfans from across the globe gather at Raymond and Johnny’s farm to help with the annual washday prior to the β€œBlacknose Beauties” show and sale in Carlisle.

In Shetland, Kirsty and Tom again row out to St Ninian’s Isle to attempt to rescue a ewe and a lamb that have fallen from the isle’s steep cliffs. But when they find them, the animals are badly injured.

A small number of Stevie’s new dairy buffalo have calved, so he and Eddie must get to grips with trying to milk them for the first time, even if the parlour isn’t built yet.

In Northern Ireland, the hot summer weather gives the younger McLeans the opportunity to try something they have always wanted to do - to try to build a swimming pool out of straw.
