06/08/19 Horticulture in Wales, social media on farms, monitoring great black-backed gulls
The Welsh farmers swapping lamb for fruit and veg, and how social media is proving a perfect marketing platform for some farms.
Think of Wales and farming and the first thing that springs to mind is probably Welsh lamb and Welsh beef. Sheep and cattle farming dominate the rural landscape but in the future, experts are predicting that more land in Wales will be used for growing fruit and vegetables.
We also hear how social media's proving a perfect marketing platform for some farms, and how Cornwall Wildlife Trust is conserving an important colony of the world's biggest gulls.
Presented by Caz Graham and produced by Beatrice Fenton.
