Howard Jones, Jon Culshaw and Charlie #CheerUpCharlie

This week Michael welcomes Howard Jones, Jon Culshaw and Charlie from the #CheerUpCharlie campaign into the studio.

This week Michael hosts On The Ball and will be playing a few tracks from this weekend's Family Album as well as inducting another songwriter into his Hall of Fame.

This Sunday 80s hitmaker Howard Jones will be entering the Musician's Circle. The pioneer of synth-pop has just released his 13th studio album, making it his first one in ten years, and will be telling Michael all about how he managed to have success worldwide as well as why he's decided that now is the time to return to the studio.

Britain's leading impressionist Jon Culshaw will also be popping by to see Michael this Sunday. The comedian is best known for his radio comedy Dead Ringers, which this year is making it's debut at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Jon will be sharing all about the show, how it's developed over the last 20 years and hopefully he'll even do an impression or two on air...

Also joining Michael will be Charlie from the #CheerUpCharlie campaign. Nine-year-old Charlie was bullied at school for his love of musical theatre and so, many West End starts have started sharing their support for him online. Charlie will be coming to the studio to tell Michael all about his passion as well as how he's helping with the anti-bullying campaign.
