In Scotland the number and scale of wildfires is forcing firefighters to learn radical new ways of tackling the flames. They're borrowing ideas from countries where wildfires are more common.
Environmental groups say millions of fish could die if plans to use sea-water to cool a new power plant on the Somerset coast aren't changed. The company building Hinkley C nuclear power plant says it won't have much impact on fish, and insist they've been working to minimise the damage to fish stocks.
