A service from Holy Trinity, Llandudno. The Rev'd Andrew Sully explores the call to serve God. The Feast Day of St Peter and St Paul falls this weekend on the 29th June – a time of year when the church ordains new priests and deacons. In our service Andrew be considering what it means to follow a call – indeed to serve God. The ordination service is very special; those men and women who have heard the call of God have undergone rigorous training and testing, and they move from being lay people to ordained clergy. Our service is loosely structured around the 1662 service of Morning Prayer. Hymns include ' Come let us join our cheerful songs' , 'Firmly I believe in and truly' and a setting of the Jubilate is sung to the setting in B flat by Sir Charles Villiers Stanford.
