A service from Holy Trinity Church, Llandudno. The Rev'd Andrew Sully explores Jesus’ teaching behind the fourteen meals in Luke’s Gospel, where all are equal and welcome.

A service of Christian worship from Holy Trinity Church, Llandudno. The Rector, the Rev'd Andrew Sully explores the meaning behind the fourteen meals in St Luke’s Gospel, such as the feeding of the five thousand, and the meal with Levi and Zacchaeus the tax collectors. Each time Jesus compared banquets and lavish meals to the Kingdom of God; the table is the place where all are invited as equals - first and last, the least important and powerful. The service features hymns from the pen of the American hymn-writer Marty Haugen such as ‘Let us build a house where love can dwell’ and ‘When you come to the banquet in the reign of God’.
