Artist Norman Gilbert’s bright and colourful work is currently adorning the walls of the Tatha Gallery in Newport-on-Tay. Curator Helen Glassford joins Grant to talk about this retrospective of 92 year old Gilbert’s work, which depicts people, places, patterns and plants with a distinctly mid-century modern vibe.
A unique concert reading of David Harrower’s modern Scottish classic play Knives In Hens, being staged at the Lyceum on Tuesday as a memorial to actor Pauline Knowles and an opening fundraiser for a new scholarship fund in her memory. Knowles, who died suddenly last year, originated the role of the Young Woman in the play's first production at the Traverse in 1995. The cream of Scotland’s theatrical community has come together for this and members of the production will join Grant to talk about this very special event.
