This is an activity he enjoyed on holidays in North Wales, on tour with the band - and in his back garden.

The Great Tit and Wheatear are among his choice of natural history recordings from the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Sound Archives.

Best known to radio listeners as the former presenter of Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio's I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue and The Best of Jazz, Hump was a trumpeter, jazz musician and band leader.
