EalaÃn agus an teorainn, Raidió Fáilte, FilÃocht Chathail Uà Shearcaigh.
Tá an taispeántas ealaÃne ‘Field Notes from the Border #3,’ a chÃorann imnà i dtaobh na teorann i ré an Bhreatimeachta, le feiceáil anois i ndánlann an Nerve Visual in Ebrington Dhoire. Cluinimid tuairim ár léirmheastóra, Sara Nà Chuireáin. Tá duais mhór ailtireachta bainte ag foirgneamh úr Raidió Fáilte in iarthar na cathrach agus ba é Ciarán Mackel duine de na hailtirà ar an fhoireann deartha. Glacann sé Ian Mac Murchaidh leis ar thuras thart timpeall an fhoirgnimh. Agus is é an dán ‘Tobar’ le Cathal Ó Searcaigh an t-ábhar atá faoi chaibidil inniu ag ár saineolaithe don tsraith A-leibhéil, ‘Céim in Airde.’
The exhibition ‘Field Notes from the Border #3,’ a series of artistic responses to anxiety about the border in the era of Brexit, has opened in the Nerve Visual Gallery in Ebrington, Derry. Our reviewer Sara Nà Chuireáin gives her assessment. The new Raidió Fáilte building in West Belfast has just won a major architectural prize and Ciarán Mackel is one of the architects involved. He takes Ian Mac Murchaidh on a tour of the building. And the poem ‘Tobar’ by Cathal Ó Searcaigh is today’s topic for our A-level series, ‘Céim in Airde.’
