Flatholm is a small island just 5 miles . It's undergoing a Β£1.3m transformation in a joint effort between Cardiff Council, RSPB Cymru and the Flat Holm Society. Rachael Garside takes a boat trip to find out more about the renovations which include work on the Grade II-listed Fog Horn Station; stabilising the Grade II-listed cholera hospital and laundry buildings and repairing the Victorian water catchment system on the island.
