Lissie, the American singer-songwriter performs live in the Radio 2 Piano Room and Nicola Adams, Great Britain's most successful female boxer picks the Tracks of My Years.

Lissie, the American singer-songwriter performs live in the Radio 2 Piano Room with music from her new album When I'm Alone: The Piano Retrospective. After releasing her top 10 record Castles last year, Lissie is back with a collection that reinterprets songs from her first decade in music as well as exceptional covers of Fleetwood Mac and The Dixie Chicks. As a child Lissie starred as the lead role in Annie in a professional regional theatre production and learned how much she enjoyed singing and performing. Previous artists to perform in the Radio 2 Piano Room include; Gary Barlow, Joan Armatrading, James Blunt and Amy Macdonald.

Nicola Adams OBE, Olympic Gold medallist and Great Britain's most successful female boxer picks the Tracks of My Years. In August 2016, Nicola became the first British boxer to successfully defend their Olympic title for 92 years. Having also become World Champion in May 2016 she has now secured a grand slam of titles, and is the only female boxer in the history of the sport to have won every major title available to her; Olympic, World, European and Commonwealth.
Over the course of the London 2012 Olympic games, Nicola became an icon after winning Great Britain's first ever female boxing Gold, having defeated three time world champion Red Cancan she instantly became a role model. Nicola achieved her dream in front of millions, as the nation tuned in to see the world’s best female boxers come toe-to-toe for the first time in the Olympics.
