Control is a powerful thing. In the wrong hands or mind it can be life shatteringly destructive. But use it wisely and it is tool that will help you achieve anything you want
Lee Craigie explores how powerful a force control can be in our lives. In the wrong hands or in the wrong mind it can be life shatteringly destructive. But use it wisely, to your advantage, and it is tool that will help you achieve and get through anything you want.
As Lee jumps on her bike, Jimmy, to meet people with different experiences of control she talks to Chris and JJ.
Chris is a survivor of domestic abuse who had control forced upon him by someone else. As he wrestled back control into his own life he has had to learn how to create new boundaries of acceptability among friends and family, but it has left him fearful of conflict. JJ meanwhile had to relinquish all of his control to The Royal Marines when he joined up to become a Commando. But as Lee finds out, that relinquishing control is actually about empowering you with more control in your life than you thought you initially had.
