The is a sustainable management scheme that is about "looking at things differently" - to work collaboratively with conservationists, farmers, gamekeepers and the local community to manage the landscape that's beneficial to all and the environment. Made up of three moors, the project aims to restore the moorlands back to the way they were and to get back the biodiversity that has been lost. This is being achieved through managing the heather habitats and balancing the way we use the moorland. It's hoped that in time some of our most precious bird species such as lapwing, curlew and red grouse.
