This week, Katie Doherty and The Navigators perform live in the Salford studio.
Teeside-born, Newcastle-based Katie Doherty is best known for her work in theatre, and has also toured with some of the folk scene's finest: Kathryn Tickell, Anna and Kate McGarrigle and Karine Polwart.
Her project includes two other North Eastern based musicians, Shona Mooney (The Shee) on violin and Dave Gray (Världens) on Melodeon.
The new album 'And Then' follows up Katie's 2007 debut album 'Bridges'.
