Devolved farming lobbies react to amendments to the withdrawal agreement
Following parliamentary votes on amendments to Theresa May's EU withdrawal deal, Anna Hill considers the impact on farmers right across the UK.
Last night MPs spent the evening voting on a series of amendments to the Prime Minister's Withdrawal Agreement. They voiced their determination to avoid a No Deal, and agreed the backstop must be replaced by 'alternative arrangements', in some form.
Mrs May told the House there was 'now a route for a deal', and pledged to bring the EU back to the negotiating table.

Anna Hill gets the reaction of the National Farmers Union Scotland, the National Farmers Union Cymru and the Ulster Farmers Union; while Julie Robinson, head of agriculture at Roythornes Solicitors, outlines the legal situation.
Meanwhile in Fife, Nancy Nicolson looks at the lack of regulation around medication for farmed deer.
