You’ll hear Janice in conversation with the Big Yin – Billy Connolly, as they discuss a new two-part Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Two series starting next Friday - Billy Connolly: Made In Scotland - featuring intimate interviews with the great man himself and providing a unique insight into the early influences and motivations that made this comedy legend the man he is today.

Following Mariah Carey, The Pogues and Wham all re-entering the UK singles chart with their classic Christmas hits, producer and songwriter Liam McCluskey joins Janice, Andrea Baker and Richard Lewis to talk about what makes a good Christmas pop song and we’ll hear Paul English ask Fran Healy and Dougie Payne from Travis about returning to Glasgow to play songs from their iconic album The Man Who which turns 20 next year, and why they chose back then to cover Joni Mitchell’s song River.

We’ll also have a guide to Christmas paintings to view around Scotland by Anne Ellis, and comedians Raymond Mearns and Susan Morrison will join the Scottish Poetry Library’s Hannah Lavery to give us their favourite Christmas reads.

And we’ll hear a wee taster of Billy Sloan’s upcoming exclusive interview with Sir Paul McCartney.
