Emma Jane Kirby visits a south-west London nursery that's housed in a nursing home as part of an effort to improve interaction between the very young and the very old. She talks to residents and the young children to discover how such ventures enhance the well-being of those at the extremes of the age distribution.
The recent centenary of the Armistice was the climax of four years of commemoration of the Great War. But poignant anniversaries are still being marked, most notably one on the isle of Lewis where, a hundred years ago, soldiers sailed back to Stornoway on New Year's Eve in the vessel, the Iolaire, only to be lost in a squall yards from the shore.
