Six series of 118 episodes of A Life of Bliss ran on the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Service from 1953. It moved to Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ TV for a run of six episodes in 1969.
Sadly very few episodes survive in the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ archive, including the first seven starring David Tomlinson. His replacement George Cole went to to star in the St Trinian's films and later as dodgy Arthur Daley in ITV's Minder.
