US Elections, Hate Crime and Civil Service

The elections in the USA, hate crimes, and the fallout from the Westminster budget. Reviewing the papers is Swansea's deputy lord mayor Peter Black and lecturer Jayne Woodman.

The Midterm elections are upon us. Live from New York Steve Merczynski, in discussion with Prof Scott Lucas and Dr Renee Luthra. Considering the importance of the Civil Service to the enactment of policy and their ministers is former cabinet adviser, now historian Hywel Williams, and on the subject of hate crime, Welsh Labour MP Stephen Doughty. Professor Tim Bale will consider how the PM is doing and whether the previous incumbent could be the 'comeback kid'. And Newport council leader Debbie Wilcox, who is also the leader of the Welsh Local Government Association will be talking about what happens to local authorities now the Westminster budget is over.
