ATL Celebrates the Mandela Hall
As Queen's University Students' Union prepares for redevelopment, ATL looks back at some of the many gigs and moments which took place in the Mandela Hall and associated venues.
With Queen's University Students' Union being redeveloped later this summer, ATL celebrates just some of the great nights the Mandela Hall hosted, before it and the Speakeasy, Bunatee, Bar Sub, and Snack Bar cease to exist in their current form.
Radiohead's legendary performance in 1997 is revisited, as is A Little Solidarity from 2008. Terri Hooley talks about the first time he brought punk to the venue, listeners share their memories, and Paul Hamill and Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 1's Annie Mac look towards the final Shine.
