McDonald family update

When the McDonalds came back from Australia they decided that they were going to go for it. They had everything ready to go ahead and appliedΒ for a visa toΒ CanberraΒ in June last year but the government changed the points system to 65. They didn't have enough points to emigrate so they could not go ahead with the application.

They were very disappointed and then had to look into how they could gain the extra points needed to go ahead with the process. Paul is currently completing a diploma so that they can apply for partner points which will give them the points they need. They are hoping that they will beΒ able to applyΒ for their 489 visas to Darwin by the end of this year.

The boys keep changing their minds as to whether they want to live in Australia but they can definitely see the benefits of a better life out there. Β They are so grateful that they got the chance to be part of the show and experience Australia as itΒ helped the family fall in love with the place.
