Mudhar family update

Since they returned from Australia, the Mudhars made plans to start the process and visited the emigration group. They looked at their information and in July 2018, the emigration group informed them that the points system had increased and it meant they needed extra points through an English test and to also accept the government sponsored area route.

Jasdeep (Jay) attended a pre course and completed the exam and unfortunately needed an 8 but got 7.1.  There was also the uncertainty that they would not be placed in Melbourne. So based on all this they decided that they would nolonger consider Australia.  In addition Jaz’s brother announced his wedding (he got married in Nov) and will be starting a family soon.

With the run up to Christmas they also realised that their kids would not have all their cousins and grandparents if they did move, so it wasn't meant to be. Β And when they told their nearest friends and family there was a huge sigh of relief and happiness that they were staying! Β Deep down they didn't want them to go either and in a way that is quite beautiful to have such lovely supportive and caring family.Β

They are still in South Woodford and will keep this as their base. They will renovate their home, Jaz will grow her business and they will continue to travel.Β

They areΒ  so grateful for this experience and without it they would have always wondered so it really helped.
