This edition of the magazine programme celebrates Black History Month by speaking with today's young deaf black role models about their experiences.
Black History Month is is marked every October in the UK. It celebrates the achievements and heritage of black people, both past and present. But what is life like when you are part of the black community and the deaf community? Does it give you extra strength to deal with life's challenges, or does it create even more potential obstacles?
Deaf actress and sign performer Vilma Jackson speaks to Chris Fonseca, Kevin SignKid Walker and Paul Ntutila about their experiences and their advice for the next generation. And we are challenging Nadeem Islam to give up his beloved mobile phone for 24 hours. Will he be able to live without social media and instant messaging? Will he find inner peace without the small screen? Will he be able to find his way around with nothing but a disposable camera and a pocket A-to-Z?
We have Julian Peedle-Calloo and Yvonne Cobb in the studio for our monthly news round-up, where we meet the boy who hasn't been to school for nine months.
