Celebrating the lives of some extraordinary women in the company of Chelsea Clinton, who joins Sally at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.

Growing up in the public gaze is going to have an impact, especially when you're part of the one of the most well-known families in America. Sally Magnusson speaks to Chelsea Clinton, at an event recorded at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, about growing up in the White House, her mother's reaction to defeat, and her latest book, 'She Persisted Around the World: Thirteen Women Who Changed History'.

Veteran New York Time's journalist Jodi Rudoren, and Madeleine Habib, Médecins Sans Frontières' first female boat captain, discuss the responsibility of bearing witness, sharing truths and telling stories.

In the first of three special reports from Tuscaloosa in Alabama, mezzo soprano Andrea Baker finds out how the city's plans to be included in the State's Civil Rights Trail and have a Truth and Reconciliation process are going.

And an answer to life's hectic-ness and noise - in a six week course Rev Philip Blackledge, of the Holy Trinity Church in Melrose, explores the meeting point between mindfulness and a more spiritual form of contemplation called soulfulness. Philip joins Sally in the studio along with John Wood and Christine Johnston who are attending his sessions.
