Prom 40: Joshua Bell and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields perform Mendelssohn, Beethoven and Saint-Saens.

The Academy of St Martin in the Fields plays Mendelssohn, Beethoven's Symphony No 4 and, with Joshua Bell leading the orchestra from the violin, Saint-Saens's Violin Concerto No 3.

Joshua Bell and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields play Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream overture and Beethoven's graceful Fourth Symphony. Bell himself is the soloist in Saint-SaΓ«ns's Third Violin Concerto.
