Miles Jupp - comedian, actor and host of Radio 4's The News Quiz - is Jo and Ricky's guest, chatting about his limited run of Edinburgh Festival shows - The Miles Jupp Interviews.

The host of ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 4's The News Quiz, actor, writer and comedian Miles Jupp will be having an ideally in-depth conversation daily with a different person of interest each day sitting on two comfy chairs. Guest will include David Gower, Les Dennis, John McCarthy, Jess Phillips and Jonathan Coe.

Described by The Telegraph as a "very British tour-de-force" Miles Jupp has appeared as a performer across a wide range of genres-from stand-up comedy and theatre to major television series and Hollywood Films.

This will be the first time Miles has performed a show at The Edinburgh Fringe since his critically acclaimed show Fibber In The Heat in 2010. The show garnered twenty-four 4-star reviews and went on to tour the UK twice culminating in a sell-out show at The Ambassadors Theatre in London. The show was subsequently turned into a book and was shortlisted for The William Hill Sports book of The Year. Since then Miles has toured the UK twice with Miles Jupp Is The Chap You're Thinking Of and Songs Of Freedom which culminated in a performance at The London Palladium. Miles' first show at The Fringe Gentlemen Prefer Brogues earned him a Perrier Best Newcomer Nomination.

On Television, Miles has notched up many credits including Have I Got News For You, Mock The Week, Live At The Apollo, QI and James and Jupp. On Radio Miles presented It's Not What You Know and wrote and starred in In and Out of The Kitchen on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ Radio 4 for four series and one series on television on ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ 4.

As an actor Miles's appearances include the award-winning Rev, The Thick of It, Outnumbered, Howards' End (ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ), The Crown (Netflix), and The Durrells and Bad Move for ITV. He has also appeared twice at The National Theatre in Alan Bennett's People and Rules For Living. In the cinema he was recently seen in Journey's End, and other credits include The Monuments Men, The Look of Love, Made In Dagenham and The Man Who Invented Christmas in which he played William Makepeace Thackeray.
