Join Mark Stephen and Euan McIlwraith for the latest outdoor activities from Shetland to the Borders, plus the key stories for those who live and work in the countryside.
Mark speaks to journalist, author and broadcaster Lesley Riddoch about her experience of Scandinavian countries and how they might potentially offer ideas about shaping rural areas in Scotland.
Her belief is that every child in Scotland should have access to a forest kindergarten. And could we have a future where every family has their own hut to retreat to for weekends and holidays?
On last week's programme we visited Papa Westray and although it might be one of the smallest isles in Orkney, there's no shortage of things to see and do. So this week we return to our visit to Papay and a boat trip with Tim Dodman across to the Holm of Papay.
Speyside is synonymous with whisky production. It has the largest concentration of distilleries in the country. Mark visits the newest build, the striking Macallan distillery and visitor centre that opened a few weeks ago.
A couple of years ago we heard from an amazing man, Roger Taylor about his trip to the far north in a tiny homemade boat. Euan meets up with him again just before he heads off on another adventure.
And musician Jenny Sturgeon chats to Euan about her latest release which was inspired by her passion for birds.
