Lauren is joined in session by Paul White, the South London musician and producer, who released a solo album called Rejuvenate in April.

In making this record, White completely abandoned his usual love of sampling in order to hone his song writing and instrument playing abilities. The album was entirely written, played and produced by White, with guest appearances from Zimbabwean musician and poet Shungudzo (aka Shun), British-Jamaican singer Denai Moore, and Paul's sister Sarah Williams White.

Paul is one half of Golden Rules alongside Eric Biddines. He has also worked with Jamie Woon, Guilty Simpson, and the hip hop artist Danny Brown, producing his critically-acclaimed 2016 album Atrocity Exhibition.

We also convene the Friday Film Club, send another castaway to the Desert Island Disco, there's more new music for our Just Added playlist, and a bunch of top tunes to bring in the weekend.
