Call You and Yours: How is the disability benefits system working for you?

Consumer phone-in. As a new report criticises the criteria used in the assessment process for Personal Independence Payments, we ask the government for its response.

On our weekly phone in we'd like to know how the disability benefits system is working for you.
It's five years since the government introduced Personal Independence Payments to replace the old benefit, Disability Living Allowance.
Everyone on the old benefit is being reassessed. Today new research is criticising a rule in the assessment process claiming it's harming some disabled people - who are losing their independence as a result. The government has already promised to make improvements to the way the assessment system works.
If you get disability benefits we'd like to know how the system working for you.
If you've been reassessed, what was it like? How has the change in the system affected you?
Email us now you&yours@bbc.co.uk and leave your number so we can call you back.
