Following the people who live, work and play along the Welsh border with England. In the final episode, motorcyclists Alexandra and Stuart make a pilgrimage to Tintern Abbey.
In the final episode of the series, Christian motorcyclists Alexandra and Stuart hit the road on their motorbike and sidecar as they pilgrimage to Tintern Abbey, Wales's best preserved medieval abbey. They later get their engines revving at the exciting gathering of almost 7,000 other bikers at 'Hoggin' the bridge'.
Henry Ashby spends his days scavenging through the undergrowth near the Severn Estuary for hidden edible treasures with his dog. With 50 years of foraging experience he's well equipped to look for ingredients for Monmouth's Michelin-starred Whitebrook restaurant, where head chef Chris Harrod puts the foraged food to good use.
Jeff and his son-in-law Rich run a campsite on the border near Monmouth. During the off-season, they spend time with their menagerie of animals and ponder some of life's bigger questions. It's also the time Jeff gets to enjoy driving the maintenance buggy 'Pepe the mule', much to Rich's dismay.
Tom Davies walked around the whole of Wales in honour of his grandparents, who lived with dementia, raising almost Β£7,000 for charity in the process. His epic trek took him along the whole of Offa's Dyke path, which used to mark the old border between the two nations. Tom meets up with his childhood friend Matt in their hometown of Presteigne for a walk along the Dyke, stopping off for a game of golf at Kington golf course.
The fishermen of Black Rock stand in the cold, treacherous waters of the Severn Estuary at low tide, waiting for salmon to swim into their nets. They practice a method used by generations of men, using a handmade 'lave' net. However, decreasing numbers of salmon make it difficult to catch anything, but this stoic group of men are determined to keep this ancient tradition alive for the next generation.
