Recycling, Problem Neighbours, Child Safety Week and Salad Cream

Kaye wonders how many recycling bins is too many, and asks the the listeners how they deal with problem neighbours. Plus the key message in child safety week - accidents do happen.

In South Ayrshire, a new waste policy will see residents end up with six bins per household, some of which will only be collected every six weeks.

CHILD SAFETY WEEK
In Child Safety Week, we speak to the mum who wants to share the accident that changed their family life forever. Nicole Bowles was out shopping in Helensburgh when she placed her shopping on top of her child's pram, something she had done many times before, but this time it led to the suffocation of her son. Katrina Phillips , Chief Executive of the Child Accident Prevention Trust, wants accidents like this to stop being a taboo.

Salad Cream, one of the UK's most traditional condiments may be renamed Sandwich Cream. Heinz says that only 14% of those who buy the sauce use it on salads, with many more preferring to use it in sandwiches. What's in a brand name - does re-naming products work or is it just a ploy to get us talking?

The Miss America beauty pageant is scrapping its swimwear segment and will no longer judge competitors on physical appearance. Is there still a place for beauty pageants?
