Laura Maxwell stands in. Should menopause be classed as a disability at work?
A woman has won her case for discrimination after an industrial tribunal held in Glasgow ruled that her menopause was a disability. After the ruling, thought to be one of the first of its kind, an organisation has been ordered to reinstate the female employee and pay her Β£19,000 (Β£5,000 in respect of injury to feelings)

FOSTER
Foster Care Fortnight kicked off on Monday 14th May. Recent figures suggest that, whilst there are more than 5,000 children living with foster families, another 600 foster carers are still needed across Scotland. Could better financial rewards attract more people to foster or should it not be about the money? Thomas and Jane Christie have been fostering for 9 years.
