Described as one of the most influential public intellectual in the Western world, controversial Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson joins Ricky to discuss gender equality, identity politics and why the Bible lies at the root of Western moral thinking.

In the week of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the new Moderator, the Rt Rev Susan Brown, joins Ricky to discuss plans for her year in office.

On Friday voters in the Republic of Ireland will vote in a referendum to decide whether to reform the country's near-total ban on abortion. We hear the opinions of two voters on either side of the argument and Irish theologian and medical ethicist Gina Menzies discusses how the debate has been conducted.

It's 50 years since the Church Of Scotland voted to allow women to be ordained as ministers. In the week of the General Assembly, Ricky is joined by the Very Reverend Dr Lorna Hood, Reverend Jane Howitt from St Rollox in Glasgow and Dr Lesley Orr from the University of Edinburgh, to mark this landmark anniversary and to explore many of the issues facing the Church this week.
