Author Lydia Syson talks about her new book, Mr Peacock's Possessions, the story of one of her ancestors, Englishman Tom Bell who 140 years ago settled an uninhabited pacific island with his family in 1878. They lived there for 30 years, six hundred miles north of New Zealand, in the middle of the pacific, where he brought up ten children with his wife, until they were evacuated during the First World War.

And the brilliant musical Evita is currently playing in Glasgow; cast members join Grant for a chat about the Tim Rice/ Sir Andrew Lloyd-Webber classic.
