Glasgow City Council is set to debate a potential ban on anti-abortion protests outside hospitals. Elaine McSporran, an SNP Councillor, has lodged a motion saying that the the pro-life activity can "intimidate women and jeopardise access to legal healthcare services". The proposal has been condemned by the Catholic Church and the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children Scotland.

Why does someone choose to do missing, and what's life like when you return home? Esther Beadle was a journalist in Aberdeen when she first tried to go missing. She had turned to alcohol to cope with the turmoil of a miscarriage and domestic abuse in her childhood. But in January 2016, fighting an undiagnosed borderline personality disorder, she vanished for three days while working in Oxford.
