Office housework, Football, Open University, Abortion

The football players being helped to fulfil their potential, the reaction to the Irish Eighth Amendment vote and why women are more likely than men to do office housework.

Office housework is the workplace equivalent of buying the loo roll and bin bags in a student house-share: Closing the door of a conference room so a meeting can begin, making the tea and coffee, ordering lunch to be delivered and taking notes. Research in the United States suggests that women, and particularly women of colour, are more likely to do office housework than men. Melanie Eusebe, a management consultant and Bolu Babalola, a freelance writer join Jenni to discuss if there is a similar culture in the UK.

Ireland is gearing up for a referendum on abortion. In a month's time people will be asked whether or not they support the 8th Amendment of the Constitution. At the moment, this states that a mother and an unborn child have equal rights and therefore an abortion is only allowed if the mother's life is at risk. Our reporter, Siobhann Tighe, speaks to women in Dublin about this controversial and emotive subject.

New research looking at how we can understand and help women footballers achieve their full potential has just been published. Jenni talks to Dr Adam Gledhill from Leeds Beckett's Carnegie School of Sport, and lead author of the study, and Arsenal player and broadcaster Alex Scott about what impact it could have on the women's game.

The Open University has been facing a crisis after cuts to regional services and funding, and the resignation of its most recent Vice-Chancellor. But since its inception in 1969, what has the distance-learning institution offered women? And what could be lost if further cuts go ahead? Mary Curnock Cook, a member of the Open University Council, and Karen Jackson, a former undergraduate student and current associate lecturer discuss the issue with Jenni.
