To mark the Radio 2 Folk Awards taking place in Belfast on April 4th, Colum Arbuckle's guests for a special Time Of Our Lives are people who have been part of the folk scene here for many years, as performers, promoters and fans.
Fil Campbell and Tom McFarland are a husband and wife duo who regularly perform and record together with- as they put it - a 'fun' approach to songs old and new. Frances Rogers sings in the Irish traditional style of sean-nos. John Moulden has been singing, collecting and publishing songs for many, many years. Robin Morton is also a great collector of songs as well as being a former member of the Boys Of The Lough and at one time manager of the Scottish Traditional group - The Battlefield Band.
