Tracey Thorn, singer and songwriter chooses the Tracks of My Years with music from Rod Stewart and Soul II Soul. She began her music career in the band Marine Girls while at school, and then went on to release her first solo album 'A Distant Shore' in 1982. She's best known for being one half of the duo Everything But the Girl, who had four top ten singles and twelve top forty singles in the UK. They released 10 studio albums, achieving worldwide success and were nominated for a Brit and MTV Europe Music award in 1996. The duo performed their last show in 2000 and Tracey has since gone on to release three more albums, one movie soundtrack, and two books, including her Sunday Times-best-selling memoir, Bedsit Disco Queen. She's collaborated with artists including Massive Attack and John Grant and her latest album 'Record' out now features tracks with Corinne Bailey Rae and Shura.
