The WTO is supposed to oversee free and fair global trade, but the organisation risks looking impotent and irrelevant as president Donald Trump is making good on his promises on tariffs and protectionism and the Chinese are threatening to respond in kind. Stephen asks what the WTO can do to avoid a global trade war.
